Allied Health New Vision Students Complete Successful Rotation at Bishop's Commons
Meet two Allied Health New Vision students, Alexis A. from Hannibal High School and Maura D. from Oswego High School!
These future nurses had a great few weeks working at Bishop's Commons on a project related to our veterans, shadowing in both nursing and social work departments, and even got in a quick Volleyball game or two!
The New Vision Allied Health program is designed for high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Students will participate in classroom instruction and career-related experiences observed during clinical rotations in settings such as local health sites, health centers and private practices ranging from primary care to dental care. The classroom setting is held on the SUNY Oswego campus, giving students a first-hand experience as college students.
As an important part in the continuum of healthcare locally, thank you CITI BOCES for choosing us as a rotation site for these aspiring healthcare professionals.
