Bishop's Commons Bids A Fond Farewell To SUNY Oswego Interns
Everyone at Bishop's Commons is sad to see our SUNY Oswego students complete their semester-long internship program with us.
This year's group of young adults were wonderful to work with and they will be missed for their enthusiasm and initiative as they played an important role they played in keeping our residents active and engaged, leading a number of activities ranging from small group functions to art instruction classes, to name a few.
The relationship with our students have given our residents a great opportunity to discover a new talent or interest, and make a new friend,” said Cheryl Cullinan, Director of Activities at Bishop’s Commons. “Our Interns have shared their enthusiasm, interests and their talents with our residents, not to mention the camaraderie that develops throughout the year, we will miss them.”
The students were recognized by residents and staff and thanked for their contributions this semester, during a farewell celebration held recently in their honor. Best of luck in the future and we hope you stop and visit us when in town.
