Bishop's Commons Residents Complete "Walk to Las Vegas Challenge" Sponsored by Kindred at Home
After starting with a few steps five months ago, residents at Bishop's Commons compiled enough steps collectively to reach their goal in the "Walking to Las Vegas Challenge", sponsored by Kindred at Home.
In what was a fun way to keep active and get in some exercise, residents were able to keep track of their steps in and around the residence. All totaled, 2,424 miles were covered, the distance from Oswego to Las Vegas. Kindred at Home provided the pedometers to keep track of progress. A large map in the Bishop's Commons lobby marked our journey as we walked our way across the USA!
To celebrate the accomplishment, Kindred at Home threw everyone a party and provided individual certificates to recognize accomplishment. Great job residents and thank you to Kindred at Home for sponsoring this healthful and fun challenge!
