OSWEGO – St. Luke Health Service Chief Executive Officer Terrence Gorman announced the promotion of Julie Chetney and Kelley Greene to new positions within the St. Luke Family of Caring, an affiliation of community-based, not-for-profit, residential and healthcare organizations serving the greater-Oswego County, NY area, based in the City of Oswego.

Affiliates include St. Luke Health Services, Bishop’s Commons Enriched Housing Residence and St. Francis Commons Assisted Living Residence located on our healthcare campus in the City of Oswego.

Julie Chetney Director of Senior Services The St Luke Family of Caring 2018Julie Chetney is the new Director of Senior Services, where she will be responsible for managing referrals and resident move-ins at Bishop’s Commons and St. Francis Commons. She will also be responsible for continuing community outreach and engagement. In her twenty-one year career with the organization, Chetney has held positions at St. Luke Health Services, Bishop’s Commons and most recently at St. Francis Commons where she acted as Director of the assisted living residence.

Kelley Greene Director St Francis Commons Asisted Living Residence Oswego NY 2019Kelley Greene has been appointed Director at St. Francis Commons, replacing Chetney. Greene previously oversaw the Social Services department, a position she held for the last four years with the assisted living program provider. In her new role, Greene will oversee the daily operations of the assisted living residence.   

“In promoting both Julie and Kelley from within our organization, we are able to retain their extensive institutional knowledge and experience, while providing each with the opportunity to further advance their skills to the benefit of those we serve,” said St. Luke CEO Terrence Gorman. “We are fortunate be able to extend these positions to two talented, dedicated individuals, both of whom are actively involved in a number of community organizations and causes.”      

For Chetney, the newly created position as Director of Senior Services at Bishop’s Commons/St. Francis Commons gives her a chance to help further the mission of the not-for-profit, community-based organizations. “I look forward to helping seniors find the right residential options that will help them retain their independence while providing the services they may need, enabling them to stay in our area close to family and friends.”

Greene is excited to continue playing a leading role at St. Francis Commons. “Since we opened just over five years ago, I have had the privilege of helping to make our residence a wonderful resource for families. Now as Director, I look to continue to build on our reputation and help reach even more individuals who might benefit from our assisted living and Memory Care programs.”
