Bishop’s Commons at St. Luke welcomes Dr. Renante Ignacio M.D to their next “Learn and Lunch” event on Thursday, March 28, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“Learn and Lunch” features a half hour educational program followed by a free lunch that includes soup, salad and dessert served in their Grand Dining Room.

This month’s “Learn and Lunch” at Bishop’s Commons on Thursday the 28th features Dr. Renante Ignacio M.D, who will discuss healthy aging and the strategies and lifestyle choices that can help maintain our health. Pictured (left to right) is Karen Murray, Executive Director at Bishop’s Commons, with Dr. Ignacio, MD. The monthly “Learn and Lunch” series is free of charge and open to the public.

Dr. Renante Ignacio MD is a specialist in hospice, palliative care and geriatric medicine and serves as attending physician at Bishop’s Commons and Medical Director at St. Luke Health Services and St. Francis Commons. He will talk about strategies and lifestyle choices we all can practice to achieve and  maintain health as we grow older, and some of the resources in our own community to help us address any adverse effects of aging in a loved one or ourselves. A question and answer session will be a part of the program.

The “Learn and Lunch” is free of charge and open to the public. Because of the popularity of this program, those planning to attend should RSVP to Bishop’s Commons at 315-349-0799 by Tuesday 3/26.
