National Assisted Living Week Celebrations Underway at St. Francis Commons
National Assisted Living Week activities are underway throughout this week at St. Francis Commons with a long list of things to do for residents, family and staff. Judging by the Events Calendar Activity Director Peg LiVoti has done a remarkable job organizing an exciting celebration.
Things got started this past Sunday when the "Twin Magicians" David and Paul Jackman, performed an evening of magic and cleaver balloon sculptures. From just down the road in Cicero, the Jackman twins have been entertaining audiences young and old since 1973.
On Monday residents enjoyed Kentucky Fried Chicken take-out lunch in celebration of National Assisted Living Week and Colonel Sanders Birthday. KFC staff in Oswego prepared 15 buckets of chicken and all the delicious side dishes. Residents shared lunch "Family style".
Stay tuned for more activities as we "Capture The Moment" this year's National Assisted Living Week theme!
