National Fall Prevention Awareness Week - Education An Important Step To Preventing A Fall
Falling is not a normal part of aging. During National Fall Prevention Awareness Week, your friends across our St. Luke Family of Caring want to stress that education is the most important step to being ready to prevent a fall.
Evidence-based falls prevention programs help older adults learn how to address their fear of falling and what they can do to improve or sustain their strength.
This video highlights classes like "Stepping On" which is available locally. For information on how to enroll in "Stepping On", call the Oswego County Office for the Aging at 315-349-3484.
