St. Francis Commons Phasing Out Memory Care Program
October 12, 2021
After much thought, consideration and approval from the New York State Department of Health, St. Francis Commons will no longer provide the Special Needs Assisted Living Residence (Memory Care) program. This decision was shared with all of our families, staff and residents of St. Francis Commons in late August 2021.
This change has no effect on the traditional Assisted Living Program (ALP) services provided at St. Francis Commons, which will continue. While a difficult decision, it will allow the team of caregivers serving St. Francis Commons an opportunity to focus solely on ALP Services.
St. Francis Commons will continue to provide care and services to our Memory Care residents until they transition to a higher level of care.
Thank you for your support of St. Francis Commons as it continues to provide care to Oswego County residents.
