SUNY Oswego Students and St. Francis Commons Residents Complete Health and Wellness Project
SUNY Oswego students from Dr. Minjung Seo’s Health Promotion Program Planning class has spent afternoons this Fall semester at St. Francis Commons Assisted Living Residence engaging with residents, as part of a multi-semester class project that teaches students how to develop and implement evidence-based health promotion programs.
Fall semester students have been conducting a series of programs aimed at specific health issues, such as diabetes, arthritis or exercise. This week, students have been presenting their final project to their classmates and St. Francis residents, who participate in the activities. Thanks students for making us a part of your learning.
This inter-generational project has been a great experience for our residents and students alike. Thank you SUNY Oswego for your active engagement with our community.
